The light bar itself is 4 38” across but when it’s lit it’s large enough to not only provide good visibility from a motorist’s perspective but also to accommodate the turn signal indicator and other features

The turn signal is not simply a flashing light on either the right or left side

The light bar is relatively short so the sequential lighting does a better job of conveying turning intent than would single flashing lights where it may not be clear whether the left or right side is flashing
