So far it was not difficult to install since my license plate only has 2 screws

My license plate has been beaten up from the carwash and many other things so i figured it would be hard to put the cover on and happily it wasnt difficult

If your numbers and letters are stamped into your plate raised i would suggest the bubble version

In nys our cheap license plates peel off and delaminate
