I actually use a logitech crayon which does not fit in that slot so i ended up returning it

It was a similar design but it finally broke due to being used for like 5 years link below but it isnt sold on amazon anymore

Lastly the flap that covers the screen lays on the ipads screen rather than locking down securely

So if you throw it in a bag it could potentially slide off and other things in your bag could scratch the screen

The stm case had a clip that locked onto the screen so it was totally secure when thrown in a bag
