This one works well for a standard grounded extension cord plugged into anotherit would be too small for anything with a particularly large plug end

I also find it is best to still treat the plugs as you would without this cover by elevating the connection above the two cords so water drips away from the connection and not inside it

The weakest spot in these devices is at the ends where the cords exit and this model has not only a rubber seal but a rubber seal with three baffles that mold to the sides of the cord

I put a couple extension cords end to end in this closed it up and hit it with water from the hose
