Quality
Heavy duty construction and this feels like it should last the life of this boat.
The clasp seems very strong and sturdy and the strap seems heavy duty.
We had the strap break last fall taking the boat out of the water.
The guy i got the tractor from already beefed up the hitch, this winch just bolts right on with 2 attachment points.

I am very pleased with it and think it was a great bargain for the cost.
For 47 bucaroo, it’s a very reasonable price considering the quality level.

The reel is riveted together and all the axle points are graded bolts

In looking it over the only possible point of failure that i could theorize on would be where the handle affixes to the crank but you would have to somehow shear the bolt and it seems highly unlikely under normal use

I just bought a small johnboat with a trailer and needed to replace the winch to pull the boat up onto the trailer
