The battery life is good and usually last several hours. It is also rugged and lasted this long, at least. The car dash mode is excellent set in any of my car without that messy cumbersome power wire. Battery lasts long.

The video loop records and retains several trips worth of footage. It records over old video when it fills up. It has 4 recording time length for videos. Bought it dec 2019 to record my dog walking adventures and mis-adventures.
Video is about as best you can do for 1080p. Like the playback control * are located just below the video screen. Audio is amazing and i have had next to no trouble figuring it out when transferring the video to another device.

If the camera is in standby mode, you have to long click the record button to start recording. There are products that are smaller, and record continually up to 10 hours.
