4 stars because of the packaging: it was not protected and can move in the box between the other things i bought.

Competitiveness

I've had a bodum french press (the all stainless steel one) for as long as i can remember.

Better than the cheaper models since i have that too.

If you've used bodum press pots before you know what to expect.

This bodum model takes a few seconds to align before we can pour, so we will go back to the old model if this one ever breaks.
