The only thing that took me 6 months to realized is that the bottom screen and metal press unscrews for ease of cleaning

We loved our old bodum french press the one that looks very similar but with a square handle so when the glass was accidentally broken we bought this one

I made the mistake of buying an ornate french coffee press from a company other than bodum and ended up returning it when it ceased working properly

I prefer the classic shape better this one looks nice but it is hard to see if all the coffees poured out because of the sleeve
