Cons

This cork lid dries out over the course of a few weeks and no longer maintains a seal. This is very inconvenient and of poor design. You have to shove them into the jar and they are so hard to get off.

These bodum jars are very high quality.

The bodum logo is only on side so you can face it back - sorry bodum - it just looks sleeker that way.

In my photo you can see an older bodum canister with plastic lid and silicon seal i still use for coffee.
