The plunger feature is nice because it keeps the tea from over-steeping. The plastic strainer has small enough holes to filter out almost everything. The only problem we have ever encountered is with chai tea.

Clean up was quick and easy. Cleanup is easy, i dump the leaves into the waste basket and quickly rinse using the water dispenser again. This way, all the cleanup occurs at once.

It probably brews better than any other method. The handle stays cool during brewing. It's best feature is the ability to stop the brewing when it's reached the perfect color.

The only gripe we have wih the 34 oz version we recently bought from amazon is that it came with a plastic infuser. The other one is that you do not want to push down on the top of the infuser piece to squeeze out your fresh tea.

I e-mailed bodum's customer service and asked for a replacement press. Bisphenol-a is an endocrine disruptor, so if you're thinking of reproducing you may wish to avoid it for the sake of the next generation.
