Back to our cuisinart 7-speed mixer (which, as of this writing is ten bucks cheaper than bodum).
Bottom line: a really good hand mixer for the price, and in my opinion better than it's competitors in this category.
Those bargain mixers pale in comparison to the bodum bistro hand mixer.

When rolling up the cord inside a little piece if the cord came off shaved off but it was too small to be significant

It sits right up on its base and thats something no other hand held mixer does and believe me that is the most important feature

The batter is thick and when i added the blueberries i had to hand stir which actually caused an injury to the palm of my hand and i had to get a cortisone shot most painful shot ever in the palm of your hand
