Pros
Over 13 years of use the kettle was our go-to for making tea or heating up tea pots or thermos containers. It boils very quickly and we use the water for everything.
Looks good. Bodum quality & design. Works better than the russell hobbs one that we had before.
Clean magic eraser on the exterior. The cord wraps up under the base for easy storage. Sleek and simple.
Cons
What a disappointment. Failed within 6 weeks and now not returnable. The design is really clumsy.
The cheap an inadequate plastic, in which the connecting prongs are set on the bottom of the kettle, deforms from the heat. Product starts melting after 4 months of use.

Both of mine have been white and have stayed white with the help of an occasional swipe from a mr.

Ive had the same product before in white and i got very dirty so i ordered the black one this time

The unit heats very rapidly and within 5 minutes you have boiled water

I did look at other electric kettles before buying a 2nd ibis but i found most were very heavy even when empty and required more exterior maintenance to look good and some did not detach from their base which makes you closely tethered to an outlook and is awkward to use
