Pros
Keeps the drink piping hot and feels very safe to travel without spills. The spout is easy to drink from and does not dribble down your face.
I find it handy for work, probably good for commuting too. Flip lid clips well but still able to access easily when driving. Otherwise very pleased.
The black mug is more leak proof than the coloured ones.
Love this travel mug. Had a few travel mugs. I wash by hand, but know people who dishwasher them. Only criticism is that the cooper coating would peel off so easily, even when only hand washed.
Cons
It leaks easily. It is brittle. Doesn't keep anything hot for more than 2o minutes. When boiling water on your hands isn't a fun way to find out either. Extremely disappointed with this travel mug.
Will buy next time only via the boden website. This is disgraceful. Trying to work out how to get a replacement or refund.

The flip top lid seals almost completely there is a small hole to prevent a vacuum forming as the drink cools

To put the sleeve back on when the cup comes out if the dishwasher i rub a wet finger around the inside of the sleeve to put just enough water there to allow it to slide back onto the cup
