Pros
Long lasting. I’m glad because it’s pricey. I haven’t been disappointed. Believing is the true witness in seeing the difference.
A lot of lotions and creams claim they exfoliate but this one really does. Works best for me when my skin is still damp after a shower. Even though nothing can cure it, this works great to control it.
The trade off is smooth, silky skin. It smooths on nicely and keeps skin soft. It it especially helps with the rough skin on my elbows and backs of my ankles where my sneakers rub.
It is not luxurious and it smells kind of sour, but it works. I know it has a slight odour from the ammonium but that goes away shortly. I dread putting it on my entire body every night and after showering but it’s so worth it!
Cons
It really is intolerable. Smell is like glue and sour milk, and is sticky after application. Allergic reaction, greasy feel and unpleasant smell are reasons i would not use it.

I am now using it all over my body with the hope of eventually having an even complexion.
Paired with a daily sugar scrub, it really helps with the red bumps on the backs of my arms.
First of all i want to say this product works.
I’d recommend the lotion but not recommend this as an amazon purchase as you can’t guarantee you’re getting fresh product.
Packaging/appearance
The only issue i've had has been applying the lotion on freshly shaved skin.
Competitiveness
This offsets the cost of amlactin since i no longer need separate moisturizers for face, body & feet.
It is more expensive than other products, but more me it has been worth it.
I received a sample from my dermatologist and after using it, ordered a bottle of amlactin.
