Before this i was wearing crude homemade moccasins like giant polar fleece tube socks in winter because i couldnt find boots that fit and before that i just didnt have boots or shoes for winter only sandals which is silly in snow

Not going to lie they arent perfect but they are wonderful to have compared to not having

Durability im very heavy 260lbs and relatively fit and active for my weight so i wear a bit harder on stuff than smaller lighter people
