The 9 is longer than i’d like but the width is so much better. They fit perfectly width wise with regular and wool socks, a bit sloppy with stockings. I have wide short-ish feet with a high arch & a high instep.
Good traction and push off. Once the ground is icy i slip and slide. No issues with rubbing either.
The heal is snug enough to prevent slippage. Up until this pair of boots i had never found a pit that actually kept my toes from going numb and being in pain. My feet are always warm and dry in the boots with thin socks or thick socks.
The bogs artic boots are a great option for the alaska weather. Wisconsin winters mean business and so do these boots.

They are also really nice with the slushy weather in between.
Easy to put on and cary with the handle pulls and so lightweight.
Of course, i tie them for longer treks, but i haven't found a need when i go out with the dogs, grab firewood, head in to the office, etc.
It’s hard to believe i’m the only one noticing this.

Plus the price is quite a bit higher.

The added air in the boot helps keep your toes warm.
These were true to size and comfortable right out of the box.

I wore them with my thick smartwool socks and had plenty of room for my feet.
I shop for a new pair every year or so and i am usually loyal to sorels.

I literally have 1 pair of boots that i rarely wear because although they fit they don’t fit well get very uncomfortable fairly quickly
