If you want to know if it works for your pets tartar yes it does soften it in time but you must not touch it with your skin at all because it will render it ineffective

It also takes several weeks to notice any effect and you must still try to physically clean the tooth

I read that the pellets should not be handled and they pour too quickly from the bottle so measuring them into the cap before putting them into the water was the solution to the problem
