I had an issue with bomaker tapio iii where the remote was not working contacted the support which sent me other one right away then i found out that the problem was not the remote and actually the soundbar itself

Support is amazing due to the inconvenience they gave me a refund of 40 on this soundbar

If your using your phone and it’s not properly positioned the sound tends to get distorted
