I returned it because i needed a full table heating pad but for a local heating pad the extra large basically covers the back not more than that it heats very quickly and it’s amazing and soft

I had an olderstyle small heating pad with a thin removable cover that needed to be replaced

Older units also do not have autoshut off so if you need heat for a longer period you can have it uninterrupted
