Pros
This is my second one since the first broke down after 2 yrs. Needing to flip the tank over to fill it is a minor nuisance. The only downside is that sometimes the cap on the bottom of the tank gets a bit stuck.
Cons
Water in the base reservoir becomes cloudy and begins to grow some sort of slime. Having to rinse the reservoirs every day or two is way too labour intensive.

This is a great humidifier :) i would buy it over 100 time again.
I am getting white dust all over the furniture and have had the unit only a month.

Managing the water minerals and bacteria issue requires two fairly expensive accessories

It needs to be cleaned every 2 weeks or it will cause white dust and maybe wont be as safe see people complaining about these issues you really do need to clean it as often as they recommend

I ended up having to get a larger unit because our place was just so dry this wouldnt do but this works very well when its not quite as dry for a large bedroom
