This is a very simple machine that performs well. The headaches you don't have to deal with make up for it's price many times over.

There is a definite advantage to having a unit which is able to detect the humidity in the room, and shut off when the correct level is obtained. I have one that is on the refrigerator and handy enough to check whenever i go into the kitchen.
