Good quality and makes double boiling a snap!
Draining it, you have to turn it over with the fill lid open and shake the water out, but for double boilers, it's great!

I was using a double boiler that consisted of an outer container for the water and an inner container fitted into the outer one and suspended by a collar about half way down its side

The problem with this arrangement is that heat was conducted into the inner container where the two containers touched at the collar
