Each pair was eventually replaced when the elastic cord that connects the leather broke but this usually takes 34 years of daily wear before it happens

Edit 2 09202022 i wholeheartedly do not recommend this model of sandals due to the shock cording which holds together the various parts of the upper breaking quickly
