Pros & Cons
Pros
Cordless fein-type tool is great for light duties. It really shines cutting vinyl like siding and fencing. The plunge cut blade gets the most use. Installing flooring and cutting back door trim to allow the 3/4 inch flooring clearance.
Two batteries are always better than one, so having a backup is recommended. The battery condition gauge is a nice touch.
The tool is slim and dexterous. It fits like a glove to the hand.
Using this as a secondary oscillating tool, i keep a universal bim blade on it all the time. It's relatively quick since a built-in magnet holds the attachment in position while threading the screw and tightening with the furnished wrench. It is no re... Read More
Cons

Bad design on the battery.
Highlights
Quality
Great 12v tool, lots of power for a small light tool.
Quality is good just the right size that i was looking for.
I own the bosch green corded multi tool so have always used a tool to change blades, but this setup is rather cumbersome.

Price
Perfect for the price, very handy, lightweight and powerful.
The warranty is a great deal if tools die within the warranty period, and submitting a claim is easy.

Packaging/appearance
Also included is a more or less worthless plastic box for blades, which seems like it was designed and thrown in as an afterthought.
Somewhat surprised that it came with only one included cutting blade and nothing else except the bosch card file size box.
Competitiveness
The milwaukee had most of the same benefits but it just felt cheaper, rattled at higher speeds despite being quieter than the bosch.
It is disappointing that it won't take starlock plus, as fein has been using this standard for the better part of a decade, so ... Read More
