Pros

S lineup of compact 12v tools are well designed and easy to use. This appears to be oem, and was totally worth buying. It's a little expensive at the time i'm writing this but if you use it professionally it is easily worth it.

Small 12v drill/driver and impact wrench that come with little 2ah batteries. It only takes a few more minutes (~12mins) to fully charge vs the 2.

These are much better than the 2. I use for my laser. This is the same size and it feels like it might be the same weight as my 2.

Cons

The original battery is about the same size and shape but the plastic latches are in a different place and you cannot insert it into the tool. The label on the clear sealed box says 12v 3 amperes but the actual lithium ion battery is only 2 ampere.

Began to notice it wouldn't stay charged very long, in spite of frequent use and complete charge/recharge cycling.

Price

Great price for a big capacity battery.

This battery was fairly expensive to start with at almost $50.

0ah but well worth the price difference.

Competitiveness

Note the model 8250 is different than other dremel models.

With bosch owning dremel i saw that some users were buying this as a replacement battery for their dremel.
