Pros

It starts very smoothly with a controlled spinup. It comes with a 1/2 and 1/4 collet. My only gripe is that * doesnt make it easier to remove bits.

Router handles well and has plenty of power, even for routing chamfers out of hardwood. I am confident they will outlive me, as i am pushing 70 with a * short stick.

Cons

It's next to useless without several overpriced optional accessories like template guides and template guide adapters. Apparently not.

I am so shocked at the company that actually shipped this router in this condition. Where is the quality control? Bought the dewalt instead.

Dust gets jammed between the router motor and the base housing causing it to freeze up. The power switch is not fully dust sealed despite the marketing.

Quality

Amazing flexibility that it provides to mount custom dust shoes because of its circular & also a light weight body.

It’s tough and long power cord allows for rough and tough situations.

This unit requires a kit to draw dust and the bosch kit leaves lots of holes and poor seal so doesn't do a good job with dust.

Finally the single wrench they send can't turn collet on router unless you reach through side window or remove motor from base.

Price

For the money, these are a workhorse for all types of cuttings, and luv the variable speed and slow start settings.

I liked the first one so well that i purchased the second when it came on sale.

Competitiveness

I have two other brand routers, but i prefer and recommend the bosch and am very please with them.

This router will do everything i need it to do and more at a price point that doesn’t make me woozy like other brands.

The router of this review and another smaller trim router.

I also bought this one, my second, on sale which made it even better.
