Pros

It works quickly and smoothly. Saves so much time and energy. My only complaint is that sometimes the palm of my hand inadvertently changes the speed because of the location of the dial.

I am amazed it can run for so long without overheating or letting up. Balance is good either using one hand on top to guide it or two hands taking advantage of the other handholds. It's forceful use and they stand up.

The rs006 replaces the dust canister and the vac002 has an outside diameter of 1 1/2. The adapter comes with the sander. Will get a shop vac for best results.

That gets the gouges out, knots almost smooth, and stains vanished. The 6 is pretty much the same as the 5 i already owned but with a larger pad.

Cons

This is defective. That problem is the power lead that friction fits into its connector. Even under warranty the problems are not worth the effort.

I've had a dewalt random orbital sander for about 8 years and then got this and was blown away.

Now that most of those replacement tools have not lasted, they have been replaced by bosch units.

Price

I just bought this one for larger areas during sale.

This sander is well worth the money for a mid range sander.

There is seriously nothing like this product out there for this price.

Its a little more $ than the other ones but well worth it.

I used to be nearly all bosch power tools, but as they got stolen, i bought a variety of brands to replace them.

Even if you use it as much as us compare it to the other high end sanders.

In my opinion bosh makes the best orbital sandes in the market, i own other brands but they live sander marks.
