The dust collector works great. Turning on and shutting off with the tool is a great feature.
Keep up with the fleece lined bags, clean your filter on occasion and don't mind the auto clean * noise. The flannel bags help to extend the life of the saw and the hepa filter.
The * dust extractor is an absolute powerhouse! This machine is everything i expected. Its stout and strong. I'm not easily impressed; but, this think is magical.
Cons
Auto clean function is obnoxiously loud and doesnt seem to do any good except to cause loss of suction mid cut. Sometimes it lasts a minute maybe longer before it makes woo woo sounds trying to reestablish suction and dies. This is expensive.

Great vacuum, we hook it to our saws, sanders etc and use it for construction cleans
This vac has multiple high end features and is truly professional grade for portable electric tools: sanders, planers, and bench work.
25 years of owning wet dry vacs, changing bags, trying different filters, dealing with clogs.
The tools were plugged in and when i hit the switch they go on and then stay on for a number of seconds after the saws are off.
Price
This equipment was worth the high price.
Bags are inexpensive and the filtration on them is amazing.
$7 for a dust bag and $52 for a filter does not help to improve my review of the vacumm.
What i didnt like is the price of bags and filters.
Packaging/appearance
Don't forget to order extra paper and plastic dust bags, they only came with one cloth bag.
Competitiveness
Instead of buying a festool vac (which i may eventually do) i could buy the sander or another festool product instead.
Bought this to compare to my festool ct15.
Decided to go with bosch over festool based on my satisfaction with my other bosch tools.

It also pretty smart device when i removed the hepa filter thinking i can preserve it for the jobs outdoor nope it reduced power 23 times and disabled reverse automatic filter cleaning

I thought would have to drape other furniture or isolate the room to prevent sawdust problems in the rest of the house
