Pros & Cons
Pros
The cs20 has the composite base. When in its lowest blade height position, the motor fits snugly on the metal base plate, so no pressure exerted on the blade. The tightening screw for depth adjustment can be pulled out to rotate the handleand pushed i... Read More
The rafter hook is a nice feature but i suspect it adds a bit of weight to an already heavy saw. For serious framing my choice is a 77 worm drive. It does have a clutch on the blade, love it.
Blade speeds up fast, and cuts easily. Blade that c a me with saw is usable. Get a higher tooth count blade for fine work and a good plywood blade you will be set for most tasks.
Cons
This explains many of the reviews describing flex. It flexes to much. I planned to set up a fence to guide the saw, this requires light side pressure on the body to keep the base running on the fence.

Price
So, for around $170 i have the perfect solution.
It's a really solid performer at a reasonable price-point for what you get.
The armature was used up so it made no sense to invest $ 58 for a replacement when a brand new saw only cost $99!
I would still buy it if it was $5 more and you put in a metal part.
Packaging/appearance
Comes with a nice bag for the saw too.
Competitiveness
This isn't a crappy saw by any means, but i expected better and probably wouldn't buy it again.

These preformed pieces of spring steel do not provide accurate settings you get 50 degrees instead of 45 and when you are trying to manually adjust your bevel or depth of cut the spring guide wants to pull the saw to one of the predetermined depths
