Pros & Cons
Pros
The threaded cone tip is excellent. Bit is tough and stays sharp. Only disadvantage is if you hit a nail, the bit is toast because the nail (or any hard metal) breaks off the two end cutters.
The paddle design of this bit makes drilling feel much smoother, almost like boring, than with bits with a straight paddle design. This bit drilled through the lumber with ease.
Cons
Too aggressive for me. I'd worry that an aggressive bit like this might risk damaging my studs esp.
Highlights
Quality
Hi, gets the job done with ease and great quality,
They work great good quality for the price.
It cuts once candle hole in 30 seconds rather than close to 5 minutes with the cheap bits!
While i disagree that you can't use these with a cordless drill, you need to have a quality one.
Shipping
Everything about this bit is designed to give you a fast and clean cut.
The only thing to know is that you have to have your drill set to the slow speed (1) and not the fast speed (2) or it doesn't really work.
The "screw" driver end "bites" into the wood fast and clean.
Competitiveness
I roughed out an entire home with these bits using a milwaukee 18v fuel with 6ah xc battery.
