These definitely make quick work of drilling holes. Used to drill into tree stump to add salt to kill stump.

The paddles are terrific, and i've had no trouble with the bits stalling my cordless dewalt drill. Faster than the standard paddle bits. Clean and fast.
Cons
The cone-threaded tip innovation, making them cut very fast, but at the cost of control and stability. These bits are basically paddles that have been warped to give them a funny scoop shape. I find they make very sloppy holes and bind easily.

I bought these at $23 for the set and that is such an incredible deal.
At the time , price wasn't a large factor in my decision, but the price for this set on amazon was well below what i've seen retail.
So if you are not picky about color, then just get the one with the best value.
Competitiveness
These are the same as the diablo speed demon bits (bosch owns both companies).
They do the job fast & well and, unlike the cheap brands, the shafts don't bend when you look at them cross-eyed.

Having tried various brands over the years i can confidently say that while some of my other drill bits cost a little less they simply do not perform as well

These spade bits have a screw point

Thats fine for some applications

For harder woods i find the screw point keeps pulling the spade down and creates a friction on the flat blades that stops my drill
