The build quality is impressive, ensuring durability and longevity. Fits well in my palm and vibration is dampened.
Compact and ergonomic design makes it a joy to work with. Being small, it's sometimes hard to get to the collet but that's the only downside. Face plate is smooth and doesn't leave scratches in my wood.
The micro height adjustment allows millimeter-fractional adjustment. Ease of use with micro adjustments so far is good. Adjustable depth is also very hand when wanting to add a lip to a face or edge.
Cons
The ergonomics of this router are poor. I am so disappointed that a renown company like * could release a product like this. I'm telling you, it's a flawed design.
Figured out that they could build a cheaper armature with the soft start. It comes in 6 set speeds and the slowest speed (1) is way too fast for acrylic. I’m using it for a cnc machine and even after showing down the speed significantly, it still has ... Read More

However two features are a plus variable speed and micro height adjustment

I bout this thing because the old makita router i had was a trim router where the height adjust is not critical beacuse it is designed mainly for flush trim bits
