Pros

Do get this model with the rechargeable battery instead of the other models. No pencil and paper anymore. Bought it at lowe's for $160.

Many features and functions in a compact package. Easy to see in daylight conditions, so it is easier to use in multiple environments. Build quality is excellent as i have already dropped it servers times.

The built-in level is super handy as well as the ability to measure indirect distance. Not just a simple laser meter but a lot more like leveler, area or volume measurement, etc.

Cons

Weigh the reliability and repair issues before purchasing one of these from *. This model is supposed to be rechargeable. Would not start with lithium or standard batteries.
