Camera feature is not only awesome but the zoom feature for the camera helps pinpoint when the red light cannot be seen. It has a camera. Depends on the reflectivity of the target.

The device still usages micro usb for charging, which all electronic devices i use are either lighting or usb-c. Checked my results against an old-fashioned telescopic measuring stick. I wish it would tell you all 3 sides of the triangle at once.

When i hit the button to measure, about half the time the measurement is incorrect. Indirect distance measurement can only be used in vertical direction. Any deviation in horizontal direction leads to measuring errors.
