Pros & Cons
Pros
Excellent cuts with zero chipping. Price is a bit expensive however, results are more important. Keep dipping in cool water and keep the bit cool.
Hole saw can cut through hidden rebar in masonry if needed. Works very good on plaster. This is removable and spins out with wrench. Drilled about 10 holes in porcelain tile.
The sizing is accurate on this, so that's a positive! It was included with the 11 piece kit. Bought it for a full master bathroom renovation. Some bathroom trim/acessory kits such as kohler require a 5/16th hole.
Cons
The cheap bit drilled through in less than a minute the same material. Maybe cheap disposable bits are just better because of how inevitable it is to wear down. Expend 10 dollars more and get the one by damo diamond tools.
