Price
Not a huge deal but worth noting.
This was an expensive addition to my router.

Had router w fixed base for a while and finally ordered plunge base.

The box came package in with other items in the order in a larger box, so i was suprised to see a huge hole in the box.
Competitiveness
Better than the standard base that comes with the router.
Also if you are looking to buy a router also, get this base in a combo pack with the bosch router and a fixed base for some cost savings.

It seems like a reproduction honesty the shock sleeves for the base plunge are old and withered looking and dont even cover the springs surrounding the cylinder pistons

I have already made several signs and wall decorations with my plunge base router

On this my replacement base the plunge mechanism is stiff and harder to press down
