If you are replacing an old one like i did you will likely do the following 2 changes to the existing configuration

I had to convert the power source to a 20 amp120v gfci outlet from a direct switch

Newer dishwasher now have the 3 prong power cords

I also had to replace the old copper line with the newer metal braided dishwasher 38s line
