If you are cutting any substantial thickness the blades gets hot

You may have to cut through more than once

The plastic can solidify around your blade and on a reciprocating saw it is hard to remove while cutting or after you have stopped midcut

I bought this to cut some plexiglass for a window and worked great except it needs to be run fast and my cordless started slowing causing cracks and a poor cut
