Pros
This is a superb little machine and will make thousands of coffees. It is a duplicate of the one we bought some 4 years ago for our holiday home. Super little machine with perfect coffees every time.
Cons
Tassimo say the pods are recyclable, which they probably are, but they're made in such a way that recycling them is just not feasible. Customer support blamed *, they make the pods and costa makes the glass or some such nonsense.
It is very disappointing. Was stiff and difficult to use. Having to fill the tank all the time is a pain in the *.

Competitiveness
It is so easy to use and set up and provides you with such flavoursome coffee.
I love that it’s so compact taking up about half worktop space of my previous one.
Will flash when it needs a descale, simply follow the included instructions (takes about 30 mins to cycle through) and then you're done.

Sometimes nothing happens in which case you have to lift the top up and then press it down again with greater force

So there is no need for a button to add extra water or to refill the machine if you use these pods

But couldn’t understand why no one else had mentioned it so decided it must have been a one off incident probably by error
