Pros
The bose 251 speakers are mounted outside, under the cover of my patio. The music reaches our entire backyard, driveway and side yard area. They sound great outdoors, especially in a noisy pool side environment.
These are essentially bookcase speakers, and do everything speakers this size should be expected to do and more. The bose speakers seem more durable than the old ones.
The sound is a little better than expected, with decent clarity and bass. Wide dispersion of sound.

It works 100% and i am pleased with my hookup. Very easy to wall mount and hook up. Can't wait to set up the 2nd.
Cons
High and low ends are very lousy, and not even as good as speakers that cost 1/4 the amount of these bose units. There is nothing coming out of these speakers that's above 4000 hz or below 200 hz.

Very clear, excellent mids and highs, great volume and sound.
Sound great, don't have to worry about recharging bluetooth speakers any more when we're on deck.
The sound outside filled the entire patio area, and carried out clearly across my backyard.
The sound quality is great and the volume is unbelievable!
Packaging/appearance
Perfect for our 600 sq ft pavilion.
Competitiveness
Bose was the only outdoor speaker company to have a high temperature rating.
It was a toss up between these and the klipsch 650’s.

The brackets that came with it is not adjustable you can only tilt it up and down
