Packaging/appearance
I got these as a christmas present as desktop computer speakers.
Competitiveness
Bose is a well-known company and i find these speakers good value for money.
Many cheaper options available, but thought you can't go wrong with bose.
Hope these live up to all the other products we have from bose.

The mini subwoofer does pack a punch while the sound quality is reasonable to good

Other than having a better stereo soundstage as would be expected with separate lr speakers these arent any better than the soundlink possibly even lacking a touch on the bass punch very surprising given the size difference between the two
