Your echo dot runs off of your wifi connection

All you need is to connect the two devices through bluetooth not through your wifi router

If you already downloaded the bose app go in it and disconnect the wifi connection

Then go on your alexa app go to settings go to device settings then go to pair alexa gadget

Press the connection button on your soundtouch speaker until you see the blue light then your alexa app will recognize the soundtouch and you make the connection
