The buttons on it are rubberized and the 5v usb charging port and the audio aux port are protected underneath a rubber cover thus making the unit splashproof no immersion

Also for atv or marine applications i would imagine the roadsea and wind noise will all subtract the sound quality anyway and so it doesn’t matter

Of course i was immediately suspicious of the sound quality given the lack of weight but it does pack a wallop of seriously loud sound
