The amplifier itself looks very well constructed and is all aluminum but unfortunately it gets quite hot and i believe it is because it is an ab mono block not a class d

But for the size it pushes the sub pretty well and while testing it actually pushed the sub too much with properly set gains even and it started burning the coil

So my overall review on the subwoofer itself is not quite good

I took it out of the box and saw that it is a single coil sub and has a very tiny coil maybe 1 1 12 but the cause of the heat was very poor coil ventilation as there was a very small vent in the bottom for the motor and there were only little holes in the cone for ventilation of the coils

Also the magnet is very small so naturally it cannot handle much wattage just based on that

So in summary my overall opinion is that the box is constructed great the amplifier is good despite the heat also considering its boss im doubtful it truly pushes 800 watts max and the subwoofer itself is terrible

Edit removed the sub and found the problem right away
