It is minimal and like i said if you're precise with the lid it works great.

While i was unable to return it through amazon, sweet water jumped in and are shipping me a new one.

Not sure how the top will last through washing it does seem as it can peel easily

This is a great little portable coffee mug you have to be sure the lid is on properly or there will be some leakage around the seal
