Thought this looked and felt similar and maybe copydex was just pva and charging too much but it turns out its a completely different type of glue

This was unlike the way the bottles were made 50 years ago with a long spout and mostly ill fitting cap allowing the stuff to cure in the spout requiring corrective action with a piece of wire for reuse
