Pros
This bougerv co. Controller is very impressive. The problem is rare. Hope it lasts.
Bougerv has four stage charging and has mosfets which are actually rated for the power it is advertised to handle. It is great that this charge current is adjustable. My batteries are 12 volt lithium which did require input from me on initial set up.
Controller is for charging 4 gulf cart batteries from 8 100-watt solar panels. The panel provides ~50v/4-5a in strong sunlight.
Bouge build really solid with fat connection points probably good for 4-6 awg wires. It is stylish and the connector cover hides the wires.
Cons
The battery life of this charge controller is questionable. When solar is connected, the system shows that the batteries are always at about 14. Wouldn't use on lithium because of limitations in the charging profiles.

The controller does have a temp input but that is only for some kind of temperature compensation it is not for cold temp protection

After having difficulty with a renogy solar charger spiking voltage and creating havoc with my sensitive electronics renogy was pretty useless in solving the problem 12v fridge gmrs radio and inverter tv would shut down when the the renogy spikedthe voltage for a second this would happen when my bettery was at 100 i tried everything to fix it
