Case fits so tight to the sides of the garmin xero c1, that it bulges out. It is not possible to improve the situation by separating the tripod. The unit needs to be loose and at a slight angle to not bulge the case so much.

Btw, the case is excellent, lots better than the original that came with my shaver.
My garmin xero unit fits perfectly in this case, and i am completely satisfied with it.
Pocket on the other side has enough room for the cable and possibly some smaller arca rails.
Price
The price is great, and it sure beats throwing this expensive unit in your jacket pocket or unprotected in your range bag.
With the cost of my shaver i needed something better than a simulated leather pouch.
