The tail can be cut and burnt to suit your needs definitely angle the tip though it just barely fits through the buckle

Great belt i ordered two one tan and one green

One issue was the tan belt was about an inch shorter in length than the green but this did not affect the products fitment

It is not square one corner is cut in order to ease threading through belt loops and the included keeper
