Pros

Heavy, beautifully engineered, chrome on brass. Best buy for your buck.

This tub spout is outstanding. The easy spring loaded diverter cleanly diverts the water which is a bonus.

The set screw is a heavy duty deep slotted so you can tighten easily without stripping the head and its tight. Easily replaces the stanadynes that used to clamp. When tightened safely closes a clamp like component around the copper pipe.

No more leak at the faucet when the shower is used. No more unexpected showers. No drips.

Cons

The spout drains more water than i expected once the water has been shut off. Thanks for wasting my time.

This spout slipped right on and once the lock screw was tighten, i tested it successfully on the first try.

Price

Water is expensive and a spout that seals properly saves a lot of water and a lot of money.

It was more expensive and it was junk.

Don't bother with the $10 junk you get at the brick/mortar stores!

Then i found this one on amazon at actually a bit less cost, so i bought it thinking i would keep the same style.

Packaging/appearance

Looks amazing and fit right on my copper pipe.

Competitiveness

So much better than the universal faucet they sell in home depot/lowes.

Before buying this tub faucet with diverter i did extensive research on many different brands and types of tub faucets.

It didn't hurt that the mixet was 1/2 the price of what a comparable replacement by the same brand name manufacturer would have been.

I know it's just a tub spout but it's so much better than the standard spouts.
